Carlos Moyka

Carlos Moyka:

 
  • Born in New York, Pennsylvania in 1942.  Lived the last 63 years between Spain and Puerto Rico.
  • Graduated from the University of Valladolid in 1970 M.D.( Licenciatura de Medicina y Cirugía) Later did a specialty in Cardiology & Pulmonary Diseases.
  • Studied art at the Liga de Estudiantes de Arte de San Juan for seven consecutive years and afterwards under the supervision of Rafael Rivera Ortiz for five years.
  • His work has been shown in Spain, France, Belgium, Austria, USA. and Puerto Rico among others in both collective and individual exhibitions.
  • He calls his work (erotismo mágico) a combination of naiveté, caricature with touches of surrealism.
